One of the most Iconic Heritage 5 star Hotel in Nepal is Yak Yeti Kathmandu. Hotel Yak and Yeti is a luxury 5-star deluxe hotel in Durbar Marg, city center of Kathmandu valley, located near Airport and Thamel.

𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : This heritage 5 star hotel in Nepal was originally a Nepal King’s Palace, which was then converted to one of kind iconic luxury hotel. The hotel was extended and a new wing of additional 150 rooms was built in harmony with the existing architectural features of the old palace, Lal Durbar, bringing the room total to 270.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 :This place is designed in such a way that it maintains the original esthetics and the emotional value of the palace. Brainwave designs has envisaged the lighting design of 2 restaurants : The Chimney and Spice Room, both in different design languages, keeping in mind a perfect balance of heritage and modern lighting.
The chimney, restaurant, we have conceptualized our  lighting design, by integrating lights within the metal elements which gives outs indirect light, which eliminates any glare, dazzle and shadows. We have used directional light which are aimed directly at table which gives a more royal, grand and elegant look to the entire restaurant area.
Spice Room, restaurant, we have conceptualized more of indirect lighting from coves and using exquisite decorative lights. This gives a more calm and pleasant ambience to the entire restaurant space.
