Novotel Hotel – Chandigarh

Novotel Chandigarh is one of the newest additions to the city’s premium hospitality landscape and marks the 21st Novotel-branded hotel in India by Accor. Located at Tribune Chowk, the hotel enjoys a strategic position close to government offices, commercial districts, shopping areas, and upscale residential neighborhoods. With its proximity to Chandigarh Airport (approximately 30 minutes away), the hotel serves as a convenient destination for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel features 120 well-appointed rooms, multiple food and beverage outlets, professional event and meeting spaces, along with lifestyle amenities including a swimming pool and a fully equipped fitness center.

The lighting design by Brainwave Designs was developed to support a professional, contemporary, and functionality-driven hospitality environment. In the guest rooms, modern lighting fixtures combined with warm ambient LED lighting and decorative elements create a relaxing and elegant atmosphere for guests.

The lobby space, which houses the distinctive Porsche Café, forms a major visual highlight of the hotel. To enhance the grandeur of the space and complement the display of luxury automobiles, artistic hanging decorative luminaires were introduced within the ceiling design, creating a dramatic and refined arrival experience.

The two restaurants are illuminated with carefully selected decorative lighting and accent illumination to establish an intimate and sophisticated dining ambience. The fitness center features dynamic ceiling lighting that supports an energetic environment suitable for workout activities.

On the exterior, the façade lighting follows a minimalist approach, subtly highlighting the architectural elements of the building. This restrained lighting strategy enhances the overall design language of the hotel while creating a welcoming visual presence in the urban context after sunset.
